Our Educational Project
At VSF CAMPS, we avoid all forms of spiritual, political, or religious dogmatism. However, we remain deeply committed to a shared, coherent set of educational values upheld by our entire team and our partners:
Physical, emotional, and moral safety
This is the foundation of our commitment to parents and to the Directors of our partner organizations. It includes responding clearly to each child’s needs, ensuring consistency and responsibility in our work, and relying on the experience and training of the adults who supervise them.
Small group stays
Our programs welcome between 24 and 40 children maximum, with a high counselor-to-child ratio and a pedagogical director or assistant director assigned to each project.
Because each child is a unique person, individual monitoring is ensured through frequent team meetings dedicated to the child’s well-being (communication with the family, relationships with peers, overall development…).

Respect for each child’s rights, expectations, and choices
As full individuals, children are encouraged to participate in decisions regarding daily life, group rules, projects, and activities. Participation is inseparable from action: a child should not be a passive spectator of their holidays but an active participant—making choices, proposing ideas, and expressing opinions.
Meaningful educational projects
All camp programs are built around a theme and a concrete purpose that gives meaning to discovery and learning. Children’s interest grows from the diversity of approaches proposed—cultural, sports-based, artistic, or scientific.
Joy and play at the heart of learning
Children’s holidays must be lived with pleasure, fun, and enthusiasm, as these are the driving forces of all learning experiences.

Developing citizenship and responsibility, The structure and organization of our programs are designed to help children develop a sense of citizenship—through understanding the importance of rules, recognizing the social value of their abilities, and finding their place within the group.
We also aim to nurture an environmental consciousness and introduce the principles of sustainable development, offering children an ethical foundation that can guide their choices.
Inclusion of children with health issues or disabilities
Because a holiday camp is an ideal place for meeting others, discovering differences, and experiencing collective life, we are committed to welcoming children with health conditions or disabilities whenever possible.
These stays provide opportunities to learn responsibility, solidarity, and cooperation. The Club Aladin is a signatory of the ethical charter for welcoming children with disabilities in non-specialized holiday and leisure centers.
