Camp Theme
VSF Camp 4 is an Adventure Sports Summer camp located in the breathtaking region of Millau and the Gorges du Tarn, in the South of France. In addition, this summer camp program offers children an exciting combination of canoeing, rock climbing, mountain biking and orienteering. Moreover, participants will enjoy nature exploration while developing confidence, teamwork and a love for the outdoors in a safe and inspiring environment!

Activities
Sports Activities: (5 sessions of 2 to 3 hours)
Canoe:
A descent of the Tarn river in a canoe will familiarize you with the current: small rapids, green landscapes, discovery of the local fauna and flora and of course swimming in the river!
Discovery of Underground caves / Cave exploration:
Equipped with helmets and carbide lamps, you will explore the “Cave of the Keel” (Grotte de la Quille), located above the village of Roquefort!
Accro-Roc course at « Les Infruts »: Discover new sensations through zip lines, monkey bridges, Nepalese bridges, and via ferrata routes!
Tree-Climbing: A unique and sensory activity that will allow you to discover the tree and its environmentby exploring it safely from the roots to the top! Activity supervised by a certified and qualified instructor.
Orienteering Course:
Learn to navigate using a map, develop your memory and problem-solving skills. Participants will set off in teams towards waypoints in search of hidden clues (Treasure hunt)
Biking tours (VTT/ MTB):
Guided by Jordan, our certified mountain bike instructor, you will ride through the trails of the Larzac region and the Grands Causses trails. Great fun!
Workshop « The Forest Ecosystem »:
Observe and understand the role of each species (insect catching, tracking footprints, and observing organic decomposition…)
Workshop « The River Ecosystem »:
Discover and identify local flora and fauna using magnifying boxes and identification sheets.

Choice of Field Trips
– Visit to the Templar city of « La Couvertoirade »
– Visit to the famous Roquefort cheese caves
– Visit to the fortified Templar city of St. Eulalie de Cernon, with its network of medieval streets, it’s towers and walls built in the 15th Century by the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem.
Camp Location: « LE HAMEAU DE MOULÈS »
FONDAMENTE is a small village in the Aveyron, Occitanie in southern France. Lodging: Children and Counselors sleep in bungalow tents (5 to 6 beds) on cement floors, with lights, beds and closets. Tents and shower facilities are located in the woods at the border of the village, in the shade!

TRANSPORTATION: With the VSF group (and the French children) by TGV train from Paris to Montpellier (escorted by the camp staff) – transfer by shuttle bus to the camp site.
