Wake-board, Water-ski and Knee-board:
Quick fix of adrenaline needed? In Port Barcarès, a place dedicated to Water-skiing and Wake boarding, you will discover under the supervision of a professional instructor, the thrill of towed water sports!

Wakeboarding and Knee-boarding are exhilarating water sports, they are much easier to learn than other board sports such as Surfing or Snow-boarding. Beginners can immediately experience the adrenaline rush from their very first try, without the need for hours of lessons beforehand, as soon as they learn the basic techniques and have been given a few simple tips!

Under the supervision of a professional instructor, you will learn the pure pleasure of gliding on water… Standing on your board, arms outstretched, legs slightly bent, a foot resting on the board and staring at the horizon, Fantastic!  (10 days: 3 sessions / 20 days: 6 sessions)

Stand-up Paddle Boarding:
Glide peacefully across the water in the Leucate Lagoon and enjoy a perfect balance between sport and relaxation! Standing on a large, stable board and using a paddle to move, you’ll explore calm waters while improving your balance and coordination. Whether paddling alone or with your friends, it is a fun and accessible activity for everyone, combining adventure, laughter, and a refreshing connection with nature.

Other activities

 – Kite workshops: Our campers will design and build their own kites using Tyvek fabric, learning creativity and teamwork along the way! Once ready, they will head to the beach for friendly contests and flight demonstrations.  May the best flyer win!

– Hiking trips on the Leucatois Plateau: a great way to discover the Mediterranean Coast!
– Moon-light get together and picnics at the beach,
– Dance parties!

The rest of the stay will be filled with a variety of leisure activities chosen by the campers themselves: team sports, beach volleyball, beach soccer, badminton, pétanque, large outdoor gales organized by the activity leaders, and of course, plenty of time to relax, enjoy the beach, and unwind under the sun!

Choice of Field Trips

(20 days: 2 field trips/ 10 days: 1 field trip) 

– Day at Frenzy WaterPark!
With its 7 inflatable tube slides, 2 trapdoors, a 300-meter lazy river, a Water Jump zone, inflatable obstacle courses, and a dedicated Bodyboard/Surf track, this park offers a complete aquatic adventure combining adrenaline, laughter, and unforgettable moments under the sun!

– Excursion to the famous park of Aqualand Park!  Rediscover all the legendary Aqualand attractions (Offering water slides, rapids, wave pools etc… Crazy Race, Anaconda, Black Hole, Congo River…), each one delivering a perfect mix of excitement, laughter, and pure FUN! A day packed with slashes and thrills you’ll never forget! 

– Shopping and evening concerts and festivals in Port Leucate

After last year’s first experience with VSF, my expectations this summer were really high. And this camp was even better! Although it was mainly a kite surf camp, there was a vast variety of activities that we could choose from, football (soccer games), yacht sailing, visiting beautiful nearby villages or just hanging out with our new French mates was really fun! Surely at first, it’s natural to feel nervous and you don’t know if you will adapt in this “new world” and this feeling gets even worse when someone speaks to you (you immediately ask yourself what they are talking about and if they are actually speaking French) however, after a couple of misunderstandings and embarrassing situations, you will have the feeling that you have spoken French all your life! To conclude, this camp is in my opinion a once in a lifetime experience that nobody should miss given the opportunity! Go for it! You’ll have so much FUN!

Camp Location: « CENTRE DE VACANCES DE LEUCATE »

In the « Teens Camp » Children will be staying in bungalow tents, allowing our campers (pre-teenagers and teenagers) to experience a more enjoyable stay, more adapted to their age group (bedtime hours, everyday life and program of activities).

Accommodation type: Trigano Esterel tents offering 8 beds per tent, separated in 2 separate quarters, with partition walls, groundsheet, solar lighting and extra open activity tent of 60 sq. meters. TRANSPORTATION: With the VSF group (and the French children) by TGV train from Paris to Narbonne (escorted by the camp staff) – transfer by shuttle bus to the camp site.
