Leucate is an attractive beach resort situated on the Mediterranean coast of France. It is located 30 km South of Narbonne, and 30 km North of Perpignan.

A LA MER

The seaside resort of Leucate, with its eight beaches (18 km) of fine sand is a dream for lovers of relaxation and water sports. A paradise for fans of board sports. Leucate is a great place to practice kite-surfing, sand yachting, windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding, thanks to the wind which blows more than 300 days a year !

Leucate is also a typical village with a busy, lively square, and a huge marina, « Port-Leucate », which is one of the largest marinas in the European Mediterranean.

OUR CENTER is located on top of a cliff overlooking the Village of Leucate , and only 10 minutes walk from a long clean, sandy beach by the Mediterranean Sea (17 km long).

LODGING:

Accommodation: 175 Beds total

3 buildings surrounded by 170 acres of land, offering 22 rooms with 2 to 6 beds with shower facilities on each level for our younger campers (age 6 -12).

A large dining-room divided in 3 different areas for different age groups, 6 activity rooms, a common room and a small library. On site, a circus tent and several playgrounds are there for the children to enjoy.

THE TEEN’S CAMP:

Children will be staying in bungalow tents, allowing our campers (pre-teenagers and teenagers) to experience a more enjoyable stay, more adapted to their age group (bedtime hours, everyday life and program of activities) which is not necessarily compatible with that of the youngest campers present at the center.

Accommodation type: Trigano Esterel type tents offering 8 beds per tent, separated in 2 separate quarters, with partition walls, groundsheet, solar lighting and extra open activity tent of 60 sq. meters. Bedding, mattresses, sheets and comforters are provided. Toilets (washbasins, showers and toilets) are available in the center’s main building.

A large 8×5 m. tent will be used as an activity room and a separate dining room. All the meals will be freshly delivered each day by the camp base or taken at the camp’s restaurant area.

NEAR THE CENTER:

“La Franqui” is a beautiful, long sandy beach (17 km), popular with windsurfers and kite surfers. It is the most popular place to kite in the region. The perfect spot to launch and land kites! (special kite zone).
