COVID-19 VSF Protocols

Dear VSF Parents and Campers,

Last spring, as the global health pandemic emerged in France and around the world, we made the difficult decision to cancel our camp sessions.  The health and safety of our campers, families, and community guided us to this hard, yet necessary, decision.

Now, with everything we have learned in the past few months, especially the scientific understanding of how the virus can be managed, we believe it is possible to bring our campers and staff back together in the summer of 2023.

That being said, we have a lot of work to do to implement new safety protocols that will make the VSF Camp experience safe and possible.

We are now ready to accept Applications for the summer of 2023!

You will find in this section of our website COVID-19 resources, guidelines, health and safety protocols and other important information on how VSF and our Camp organizations will be operating next summer.

We are currently planning to run all 2023 camp programs. We understand that our ability to run international camp programs depends on travel restrictions. These restrictions are changing frequently with no way of predicting what they may be during the spring or the summer of 2023. We will continue to monitor the international travel situation and will keep you informed.  We will update programs if necessary.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

In the next months, a lot will come together as our government guidelines continue to change. Our team will be in touch with more defined procedures closer to the start of the summer months. We ask for your patience during this time, thank you!

…Even in the most challenging times there is hope.  One of the most positive things to come out of this is the connections that so many communities have made (in a time you can’t connect physically) through songs, music, art, the many memes that make us smile and play.  In many ways these types of connections are what makes summer camp so special – so we must, at times like these we keep the spirit of summer camp alive in each of us!

Until we can be together again in the not too distant future, please take care of yourselves. Stay healthy and stay safe!

We can’t wait for the summer!
